Supplier Identification
Our starting point is to understand exactly what the client requires.
This includes product specification, quantity, quality standards, delivery expectations, commercial terms and the intended final destination.
Once these parameters are clear, we identify and evaluate suitable suppliers through our existing network or targeted market research.
We place particular emphasis on the supplier’s reliability, production capability, commercial standing and ability to perform consistently over time.
Negotiation With the Client’s Interest in Mind
Where requested, Veritas can participate directly in commercial negotiations.
Our local knowledge and experience allow us to challenge pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, production conditions and other commercial elements.
The objective is not simply to achieve a lower nominal price.
It is to improve the overall purchasing structure.
Our clients remain informed throughout this process and can be directly involved in negotiations whenever they wish.
Supplier Due Diligence
Price alone is never sufficient reason to select a supplier.
Before recommending a new counterparty, we seek to understand who they are, how they operate and whether they can reliably fulfil the transaction.
Depending on the requirement, this may include company background checks, production capability reviews, site visits, sample evaluation, documentation review and commercial reference checks.
We also consider sanctions, restricted-party requirements and other relevant compliance factors before proceeding with a transaction.
Samples, Inspection and Verification
Where product quality is important, Veritas can coordinate sampling before purchase or shipment.
Depending on the product, this may include supplier samples, stock samples, third-party inspection or independent laboratory testing.
Our objective is to provide the client with sufficient information to make an informed purchasing decision before significant commercial commitments are made.
Procurement and Transaction Management
When required, Veritas can take a more active role and manage the complete procurement transaction on behalf of the client.
This may include coordination with the supplier, commercial follow-up, documentation, payment-related communication, logistics planning, loading supervision and final delivery.
For overseas clients, this can effectively provide a local procurement and operations function managed through a single experienced partner.

Our role in procurement is clearly defined.
We are not interested in taking over our clients’ markets, approaching their clients or using confidential supplier information for our own commercial advantage.
The business belongs to the client.
Our role is to make the sourcing process more effective, more transparent and more reliable.
